The Gun Dog Training Grounds At Tom Creek Kennels

Tom Creek Kennels is located on a working farm in Northwest Iowa. On our farm we have a variety of different habitat to train hunting dogs in. Our farm has acres of crops, CRP, water, and woods, which is a great and diverse combination of habitat conditions.

Having this diverse habitat is great for training huting dogs to give them exposure to different hunting conditions. It will challenge them to use their natural hunting ability and instincts, and it will be up to us as the hunting dog trainer to fine tune these instincts.

Our Fields For Training Gun Dogs

By having a great mixture of crops, CRP, water and woods, we are able to present many different hunting scenarios to each hunting dog we train. This is turn allows us to create a great hunting dog that is ready to go in all kinds of different habitat, to hunt many different species of upland birds and waterfowl.
